• I have to fall asleep on my stomach, because of this I know I could have never had a child.
• I must have at least one coffee a day; cold or hot. I do not like sweetner in my coffee.
• I could watch TV and movies 40+ hours a week
• I have had 1 speeding ticket. My parents were in the car with me, we were in Indiana, I was 17.
• I wash my clothes in Tide, brush my teeth with Crest and use Secret deodorant.
• I look forward to the times Drew comes over for many reasons, but especially to watch Ben Ten and play games like Viva Pinata and Rock Band. J found a new Mexican Train Dominos game that he downloaded on XBOX 360, we might play tonight and I look forward to that.

No one tagged me, so I won’t tag anyone. I stole it

I was all prepared for a post on beating children..you know in school..but I’ll save it for another day. I’m feeling all mopey today, it’s raining… so I thought I better liven things up.

A. Attached or single? Attached to a husband, puppy, 2 cats, and 2 old people.

B. Best friend? J … most days… sometimes Jack the dog…or Drew..but usually J

C. Cake or pie? Chocolate Cake

D. Day of choice? Usually Friday. I don’t usually mind work..and then I can stay up late…but I do like Saturdays too… and during regular TV season I LUV Tuesday.

E. Essential item? Toothbrush. I could not LIVE w/ out a toothbrush.

F. Favorite color? I hate this question because it really changes. Right now I’m into brown.

G. Gummy bears or worms? FISH…Swedish Fish. How did they get their name?

H. Hometown? ‘STL.. please never say The Lou. I HATE that. If you ask my dad he’ll tell you “Dago Hill Missouri” (he can do that cuz he’s Italian)

I. Indulgence?  Shoes and Purses…and eating out.

J. January or July? January  cuz TV is better.. What??

K. Kids? A husband, stepson, 2 cats and a dog. Yeah, I got kids.

L. Life isn’t complete without? J, a book, computer and tv.

M. Marriage date? 12/11

N. Number of brothers & sisters? none although biologically I KNOW I have one half something that is older than me. Maybe someday I’ll know.

O. Oranges or apples? Apples….especially dipped in carmel and rolled in nuts

Y. Your favorite food? That changes ALL the time. Right now I would say meat. (maybe cuz I had bbq last night). Brisket or pulled pork.. ymmmm

Z. Zodiac sign? Scorpio… .I am 100% Scorpio too.

Childhood Meme

Are we There Yet Mom tagged me for this meme about 5 years ago.

I don’t consider myself a quirky person. I thought I would tell you 6 things about my childhood.

1. My first best friend’s name was Laura. I was scared of her brothers, she lived across the street from me. We were NOT allowed to go into her house if we were wet from the pool. If we had to pee we were to sit on the edge of the galvanized pool and pee on the grass/ground. One time Laura pulled down her bottoms and pooped.

2. Any free time I would play in my back yard. I had a swingset and a cherry tree. I used to either climb or swing and sing.. One of my favorite songs to sing was “Up Up and Away in my Beautiful Balloon” or “Forever In Blue Jeans”.. (I used to think he was saying Reverened Blue Jeans).
..this was by myself…

3. I had every Barbie Accessory known to man.. or child as it was. My favorites were the three story townhouse w/ the elevator, the plane, the camper and the hot tub that pumped bubbles.

4. My first bike was red. It was a handmedown from someone. My neighbor Vince taught me how to ride, I was afraid dad would let go. Vince did too but for some reason it was OK.

5. The nextdoor neighbor Vince was also the person I allowed to pull my teeth. I still think Vince is the greatest! FYI: His granddaughter was one of Drew’s nurses when he was in the hospital.

6. I LOVED playing in the dirt. I used to imagine that I was digging for buried treasure. Our house was built in the 50’s on an old landfill. I used to find blue glass, old coins, tin cases. I really believed though I had to stop so I wouldn’t hit the Chinaman that lived on the other side.

OK..so it’s 1:33pm, I heard rumor that we are closing the office at 2pm, I hope they don’t pull that “hourly people can leave, salary stay til 5pm”..bs again.  It’s Memorial Day weekend. Please say thank you and hug a soldier if you have one.. past or present.

We’re going to have a very relaxing..”if you wanna” kind of weekend. Golf, fishing, movie, dinner, sleep. We’ll do whatever we want, when we want to. No Drew..just us. Hope everyone has a great holiday. I may or may not blog

Biddy tagged me.. It’s 9:21 am and I’m leaving by 4am..I’m in the office and have to go to Target (new memory card for camera and huge ass zip lock bags).. and do laundry, go to the tanny spa one more time, pack, shave, shower… sleep and be ready to go by 3:30am.

J wasn’t feeling well and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. Drew, Jack and I headed off to the park. I actually played football. (don’t laugh too hard) then I told Drew to go play that I was going to take some pictures…he said, “Don’t you want to take pictures of me!?”..the boy has a love affair with the camera..and the camera loves him too…
