My facebook/twitter/blog life have intertwined…although RL friends don’t come here…I mention this because I was reading shared posts about the little Maddie dying. I didn’t know Heather, her blog or her family. I feel though responsible for a post today. They are part of the blogging family.

Maddie’s mom has been referred to today hundreds of times as “my friend”.. I don’t know if these women ever met her or not, it doesn’t matter..years ago the lines has started getting smaller and smaller between who your friends and on line friends are.

When I talk about you..Biddy, Bri, Grandma J, Jason…anyone that is reading this, I refer to you all as my friend, I only qualify if people ask how we met. When my friend asked me today who Maddie was that died, I said it was a close friend of my friends.

Blog thinking has returned

At least 5 times this weekend I thought their were some blogworthy things to talk about..that’s a step in the right direction isn’t it?
I’ve forgotten what they all were though.

Normally I just tweet them (twitter) or add to facebook. Normally now..

We went to a friends for dinner Saturday night. Ate then played Mexican Train dominoes. It was a good time. J ate too much and then felt like crap all day yesterday.

I decided to go to the Y every day and exercise…at least 30 minutes. I have totally blown it but at least I’m going 3 or more days a week.
I can’t walk on the treadmill without holding on. I like it. I never thought I would say that.

You watching American Idol…I am. I’m a Danny fan.

You watching Amazing Race.. I am. I think the only one’s I don’t care for are the tweedle bros..I hate that they screwed w/ the pumps. Moooooooommmm … remember that from last night. My husband had to stifle a snicker.

You watching Survivor? … I am. My favorite right now is Taj. I don’t think she’s going to make it to the merge. I hope so though.

I’m still hungry. Off to hunt food.

Angie married her man..adopted 2 lovely boys, the “perfect” life.
Angie’s loving husband Brian died yesterday after a battle with brain cancer. I think Angie is SO strong, thoughtful and truly a hero to her family and inspiration to those of us that piss and moan about things that aren’t really important.

Can you believe it is already time??

June 3rd…I can’t wait..this picture  was last year.

What’s it all about?

I realize that is where I was…what is it all about? I turned into a stat watcher. I mean what the hell was I trying to prove? It’s not like I even had ads to make money…

I was reading blogs and commenting because I felt I had to..I guess I’m kinda starting over without really starting over. God knows I don’t need the 3rd incarnation of my blog.

So..Mary is over at Facebook now. WOW lots of people have popped up that I used to hang with when I was just out of college. I never understood why they didn’t party as much as me. These are the people that have been married for 12-15 years already. Back then that was the FURTHEST thing from my mind. It’s nice to see them again..I’ve finally matured to their level.

It was Spring for a couple days, now starting tomorrow it’s supposed to be cold again. That sucks..

I need new socks. I can’t find the matching ones and I’ll need to wear some tomorrow.

I broke my tooth yesterday on a pretzel. No shit. It was one of those awesome hard Bavarian ones..I cracked that little bitty molar right before the back teeth..the back ones are already capped and this one was filled to the top. I have a feeling I’m going to get another crown And you know what the worst part is? It’s the shots.. big ass needles forcefully going into your gums. I don’t think in my extensive life of dental issues had one visit that did NOT require them hitting a nerve and making me cry. For reals..

So..that is my afternoon. I’m looking forward to American Idol tonight, Top 13 don’t cha know. I am NOT excited that it’s Michael Jackson night.

Please..I LOVE me some black Michael. You know..the Thriller years. Now..he’s a laughing stock.

Michael sings Michael.. Not Anoop..not Megan..and dear God not Michael the big guy..maybe Danny does..we will see.

HELLO…is anybody out there?

Yeah, so I didn’t really expect to take a bloggy break, if I did I would have told you. I think I got a little overwhelmed. I got my google reader all set up and realized I was reading 395 hundred blogs a day and it just became easier to just quit. I didn’t want to quit. Facebook became super easy too..because most bloggers..not most but MANY bloggers are on facebook..along w/ real life people and I could do 14 status updates, play games and be in the know without going to another website.
Of course I had to sensor myself and am running into people I don’t like and ex’s which is a little weird..but other than that it’s easy, and you know me, I LIKE easy.
SO what is new..let’s see. I am exercising. I’ve been going to the Y twice a week doing a deep water exercise class and also started walking around the track and riding the bike. I didn’t go all weekend and feel a little bad about that..that is strange for me, I know. I may join Mutha Mae at a Zumba class too, I’m looking into that.
Bri..Underthearch Bri..and I went to trivia night in late January..that was lots of fun.
American Idol started…WOO HOO. And I’m watching Survivor too.
I barely saw any of the Oscar movies..
My parents are still driving me nuts, thanks for asking..(mom more than dad if you didn’t know).
I guess that is it. I promise not to be gone to long again.

Merry Christmas Eve Eve

So the symphony was beautiful. The instrumental part blew me away, there was also a soloist as well as the Children’s Choir.

We have 4857 things to do tonight but my husband gets to be in charge because he didn’t do things the way I wanted to..HAH!

I’m at work my computer has a virus or something, I’m running a scan. The keyboard isn’t even working right. I wonder if I need new batteries in my keyboard?

Well Merry Christmas, Happy New Year..I will talk you all soon, Facebook and Twitter addicts sooner rather than later.

And it’s not even winter yet!

Ice, snow, sleet, sneet, freezing rain..you name it we’ve had it since Monday. Nothing major though..no downed power lines, no major interstate shut downs.. The crap was all predicted so the streets were OK.

From the looks of the poll we are tie between..it will get down when I get it done..and I have a plan, it will all work out.

Tonight J and I are going to finish our shopping. We are doing a gift exchange w/ J’s family  so we have to get something for his aunt and cousin..and we also need to get something for his mom and sister… plus one Pokemon board game, then I think we’re finished.

Work has been OK.. not near as busy as the past few years.

I still have my addition to Facebook. It really is like computer crack.

There are TONS of movie’s I want to see. I have to tell you though, especially if you have kids..1st Grade or older, GO SEE DELGO. It is getting HORRIBLE revue’s and a bad rap..it is a GREAT movie! Personally I thought it was better than Wall E..it had a great story line and the animation was great. Drew totally loved it. We saw it Saturday night at 7pm and we were the only 3 in the theater.. in a time where there are not an abundance of movies for kids…don’t let this one pass you by.

Bunch of people I know at AB just lost their jobs..I think if you have a job to bitch about you are lucky.

I think I’m getting a little more into the holiday spirit..I am going to the Symphony on Saturday night, if that won’t do it, nothin will!
