I’m done w/ August, really. 31 days…enough, bye bye.
Sales are down, gas prices up…couple more months of politicians. Eyeballs killing me.
Friday night J and I drove in circles and ended up at Cheesecake Factory, it was yummy. We got home and I closed me eyes..I ended up falling asleep.
I spent the day Saturday at mom and dads. I cleaned a bunch of the clutter that she had. It’s very very easy to throw shit away when it’s not yours..and when they aren’t in the room. I think it was easier for her that way too. J on the other hand sanded their light pole in the front yard. Dad and I then went to mass and J and I ate Lion’s Choice and watched Mizzou kick Illinois’s ass. (score should have been alot higher)…(am I the only one or did Chase Daniel look a little off??)
Sunday I primed mom and dad’s light pole, watched some TV then we went to a party at my cousins. I played Rock Band w/ 2 5th grade boys..to show you how screwed up our family is age wise.. One boy was my cousin’s son, the other was a different cousins great-grandson. YEAH.. Mom and Dad went. OMG that wheelchair was HORRIBLE.. I am hoping that we get a replacement one this week.
Yesterday J and I went out to the BMW Championship practice round. We got to see Padrig Harrington at the driving range. It was great..but it was HOT..92 degrees..and I got blisters on my feet. We walked the entire 18 holes, mainly on the cart path.
SO how was your weekend? I know Grandma J and Biddy had birthdays!!
I’m slammed today at work, it’s taken forever for me to type this ![]()
I hope to get to everyones blogs by tomorrow afternoon!
In other news….
Car has a broken fuel injector. Fun fun fun.
Got mom a lap top, I’m going to set that up for her tonight.
I’m on book 4 of the Twilight series.
What a busy weekend you had!!!
Yours sounds better than mine. Rain, rain, rain, and watching Gustav.
I want to be your mom!! you bought her a laptop and did a clean sweep?
Thank you for the birthday wishes. My cruise is an Alaskan cruise so the hurricanes won’t be a problem. Then I’m spending three weeks in So. CA. Home sweet home……
I think we’re about even on the busyness of our weekends. Mine was non stop and I also celebrated a birthday! Actually, I’m celebrating it today.
Rock Band is awesome. I can’t play the drums though. I’m awful at them.
Glad you had a good weekend, minus the blisters.
Glad I’m not the only one working my a** off today.
It is so much easier to throw other peoples crap away..hence the number 1 reason my hubs would divorce me. He accumulates A LOT of crap and it’s so easy for it to vanish when he has no clue he still has it until he’s looking for it 5 years later and when he’s not home all week long to find it in the trash.
I feel the pain! Google reader is out of control. Today was “anxiety day” for me. Those meeting KILL me!
How was Rock Band? Did you sing?
I ask you how your weekendwent, and then find that you wrote about it, I just hadn’t read it yet!
I spent most of the weekend letting my dad get a couple months of bitching at me off his chest.
I did come back with some wheels, though. I can’t remember if I told you, but my Grandma decided that I couldn’t live in the big bad city without a car so she is selling me hers. My Grandma rocks! lol Lord, I sound like I’m in high school, it just never ends, does it?
My Grandma is also a big fan of solitaire, she uses the computer all the time since her stroke made writing too hard for her. I’m sure your mom will get the hang of it, then she’ll be emailing you ten times a day! lol
We had a birthday this weekend too
I seriously think I’m the last person on Earth who hasn’t picked up on the Twilight series. Perhaps once the parental units leave town.
I’m definitely ready for fall. Bye bye mosquitos.
Very cool pics over in your sidebar MP.
Happy belated b-day to grandma j and biddy.
I’ve missed you my bloggy buddy. Glad you’re doing well.
Yeah, August was way too long! Fall is a coming and a coming and soon snow will fly.
I’m a little slow today, you said Prime lightpole and I was all like, what’s that – then I got it.
Priming the parents light pole, huh? Never heard that metaphor before.
I am so glad fall is coming. It’s my favorite time of year… I love the colors, the slight breeze, the leaves on the ground, my plum tree and most of all the Puyallup Fair. We go about 4 times, always come home with some gadget we don’t need, eat too much food and spend too much money!
I thought Mizzou’s football looked sloppy this weekend. I don’t think they will win many more games playing like that. Good offense is great, but no defense is NOT great.
KEEP BELIEVING
August can bite it but September is turning out to be a little bit of a bitch herself.
